I started my hike about 5 AM. It was extremely foggy on the drive up and until about halfway up to the ski hut. After that, we broke out of the fog and clouds, and it was beautiful and sunny. There was just a tiny bit of snow scattered up towards the top as you make your final assent to the peak. There is a pretty large snow patch that was difficult to walk up as I was just wearing hiking shoes. Poles would have made it easier. I would recommend staying to the far right as the snow patch is smaller to cross. All in all, it was a lot of fun I hiked up with my dog.
