The trails were practically non existent as everything was still covered in deep snow. We had crampons and one even had snow shoes but traversing the snow to the peak was exhausting. We have strong hikers in our group but it still took us all day to reach the peak and make it back down. 2.5 liters of water was not enough, everyone ran out of water. Bugs were out in full force, and the sun on the snow in the afternoon and water run off sure did make it a very rough day.
