First, I thought the weather was going to be chill and cloudy (my mistake for not checking the weather more thoroughly), but it turned out to be very sunny and hot by that area. Second, just when getting out of my car at the parking area I got attacked by all sorts of bugs. From the parking area all the way to the peak I found myself surrounded by bugs. The good thing is that I was wearing pants, and a light long sleeve hoodie that I had on at all times, plus my sunglasses. Either you wear a head net or you just keep moving nonstop. If you don’t have the net and stop, you’ll be surrounded by bugs in no time; I was actually bitten by a fly, it was my first time (I didn’t know there were flies that could bite 🤣), and they make a straight incision so they can suck up your blood, yikes. Other than that the hike is beautiful, and with great scenery.
