Never seen so many wildflowers on our local hills.
It was an overcast day and for the first 11 miles I had no bugs. The next two miles more than made up for it. Had the bugs been like that the entire time it would have been a horrible hike, but as it was it was merely an annoyance. I had a bug net but no spray so the flies would bite me through my shirt.
Still a fantastic hike.
