Think this was my favorite of all the hikes – turned our downhill adventure into a little bum sledding between switchbacks for a couple of miles. Snow from beginning to summit. 
Poles and micro spikes were a must and made this hike quite enjoyable. Was colder back at our campsite due to no fire (hazard season) and wind. Would do it all over again and again!
