I hiked with my husband Hiker234. He is also doing the challenge.  We camped at Monte Cristo campground about 15 miles away because we live in north San Diego county. We started around 8:40 AM and finished around 3:30. We rested at the top around a half hour before coming back down. I call it Bumpy Strawberry because so many boulders and having to go on all four. I was windy and kind of hot. Very little shade only toward the bottom. We saw a snake. I don't think it was a rattle snake. It got hard when we started the climb around 1 mile before getting to the top.
