Parking lot was completely full before 7am so we had to park a little ways down the road. Trail was in good condition, although some well trodden switchback shortcuts were disappointing to see. Trail also got a bit narrow at times which, with the larger amount of hikers on the trail, made passing a little difficult. Weather was cool in the canyon in the morning which helped counter the steady grade of the trail.
Saddle and final ascent were sunnier but cool breezes helped ease the heat. Summit was a good view but crowded with hikers (maybe 20+). Way back was sunny but not too challenging
