Not my favorite peak.

Started off pleasant enough following the PCT in the shaded forest.  Then there was almost two miles trekking over black sharp lava  rocks that made for a rough terrain.  Once you past the lava fields you tackle a steep climb up loose cinders, almost like sand dunes.  However, we were rewarded at the peak with beautiful prominent views of Mt. Washington, North and Middle Sister.  And sand surfing down the summit was a little fun!

Two days in row of peak bagging, 5 down 1 to go!
