Weather was overcast, great for hiking. This route has a lot of incline but is one of the only options to get to Santiago Peak as the Holy Jim area is still closed after the Holy Fire last year.
The route was: Trabuco Creek Road -> Joplin Truck Trail -> Main Divide -> Santiago Peak -> Main Divide -> Joplin Truck Trail -> Trabuco Creek Road
