Parking along Invergorden Rd can be a problem on weekends. We parked in Old Town Scottsdale and took a Waymo driverless car to a drop off point nearby. The weather was perfect and the trail had a lot of people from all age groups and experience levels. No dogs allowed on this double black diamond trail, restroom at the start and well maintained trail. The back of the camel between the two humps is the saddle and a good spot to turn around with younger kids. The rest of the way is quite steep and a little scary at times. My daughter did not want to go the rest of the way so my 10 yr old granddaughter and I left her behind. We made it up, stopped for snacks and my daughter came up about 10 min later. If you are scared of heights this mountain will test you. We had a great experience and plan to do it again before the summer is back.
