Relatively easy hike to kick off our 6 peak’s challenge… beautiful sunny day but we were met by a ranger that told us it was a 20 degree windchill at the top which we certainly felt!
Very icy along a number of sections on the way up and crampons would have been useful. We actually decided to come back down the 5 Oaks Route which was muddier but had no snow. Enjoyable day out with friends.
