Okay. Fair Warning!
The first 3 miles on this trail are a bit.. Adventurous. The switchback trail is very well hidden due to some fire damage and fallen trees. You can easily find your way up with the help of a map and some good eye sight. The trail eventually meets with Deer Trail, and then takes you up to the peak, on some more paved, and clear switchbacks.
Bring Mosquito repellent..
IMPORTANT NOTE! – DO NOT take azaela trail to seven pines parking. It drops you off about 2 miles from the actual parking lot because of a private residence. There are two other trails that take you to the actual parking lot, with out any locked gates getting in the way.
The actual trail was fun though, challenging, and adventurous. Highly recommend if you don't mind a little tree hopping.
