We did it!! Hikers 001, 002 and 003 reporting in as challenge complete!
Granted we finished a month later than we originally planned ( thank you historically wet summer ), but we finally finished our New England Six pack of peaks challenge!
Mother nature may have rained us out on our original plan for Greylock, but we are thankful that it held out today.
After all of the other mountains we hiked for this challenge and this year, this one felt like a walk in the park, easy peasy.
We had a great time exploring the war memorial at the summit and couldn't pass up the delicious treats at the lodge. The grilled cheese, chips and hot cocoa definitely hit the spot. There are very few mountains that offer hot food and bathrooms at the summit so we make sure to take advantage whenever we can!
