So after being away from completing some of the hiking tasks I got back into the swing of things by knocking off San Gorgonio Mountain off the list. It was a beautiful day to be outside with the temperature being in the upper 30's lower 40's when starting that morning. The cool morning and beauty of the area made for a great hike. I had heard the area had received snow a few day prior and so when hiking along the trail there were still patches and remnants of the white stuff around. At the top it was a little windy but not too bad and at that point the sun was completely up and it was probably in the 50's. The views at the top were amazing, and after a short snack break I headed back down from where I came. I'm always amazed at how different the trail looks in the different light of the day; it almost makes for a completely different trail. This is a great hike with wonderful views; I recommend others to experience it.
