Six and Done!  This was my favorite hike of the SD 6 Peaks.  Today was particularly spectacular for a hike.  Blue Skies, 40ish degrees at trailhead to start, cool winds the whole hike.  Almost no bugs👍😁🥳.  I didn't mind the uphill trod on this trail, even though I am usually not a fan of trudging up sandy roads.  The sweet reward was the portion through a forest and meadows – I felt like I was travelling through Northern California – giant cedars, pine, oaks, fir, and spruce.  Yes, I did climb up the ladder and ropes; yes, I stupidly took my pack up the ropes with me.  No, I'll not be doing that in future.

So long San Diego – time to get ready for the Nor Cal 6 Peak Challenge.
