Start early to get Parking and avoid the afternoon heat! The parking is $6 so make sure you take cash and a pen to pay the entrance fee. The hike is steep from the beginning so be ready for a climb up front. There are spot where you will find some shade but it’s better to start early, there were lots of places to take pictures and make sure you use an app to stay on track. Otherwise they have a small store at the summit so you can buy a cold drink or a souvenir. They also have a monument at the absolute summit you might want to take a picture with. The down hill journey was all fire access road so it was pretty easy.
