I was dragging energy-wise today, so this steep hike went slow (7 hrs), but the scenery was beautiful and the trail sparsely populated on the way up, with a start time of around 5:30 am. Top half of the mountain was pretty brisk and windy, so I was glad to have a layer or two on hand.
