Finished out the challenge with Diamond Peak!! Definitely the most challenging of the set due to less traffic on the trails. On the positive however, not like the crowded ant crawl that South Sister can be. Lots of “trails” to choose from for summit, all very loose and steep. The top section from false summit to top was not as bad as video and previous posts suggested… nice and stable. Backpacked into Rockpile Lake from the PCT. Nice cool weather Saturday night, but smoke rolled in for summit on Sunday. Road from Crescent Lake to Summit Lake is very rough but fun in a high-clearance 4WD.
