Best hike on the list yet!!  Hooked up with two strangers who are now my hiking buddies!!! Thanks for the awesome day Josh and Kelly. Appreciate you letting me tag along. This one is fun and challenging both up and down. The first two miles are a burner, and then you start getting to relax as you hike up and down little hills that allow your HR to drop. You will pay for this on the way back down!!!  The weather was finicky. Wind gusts in spots and crystal clear skies in other spots. We encountered large semi frozen puddles, snow, slush, and a little ice.  It was perfect to test some cold weather gear and practice with layers. Passed up the lookout tower to catch the summit which was a cool experience.  A short hike thru the trees you will come to a large Boulder with a ladder and ropes. At the top of this approx 20ft climb you reach the Top!!!  Way better than a potato chip!!! Sign the book in the black and yellow box below the summit.  On the way back down we hit the old lookout tower. The wind was blasting thru and made for an epic day on the mountain. What a wonderful experience.
