We all had a great time at the climb for heroes at Mount Baldy. In the morning we were welcomed with food, coffee, and a free shirt. We started just after 8am. I hiked up with Phil, hung out at the summit for a couple hours, then hiked down with Jeff Hester. Afterwards some of us got together at Greg’s house for tacos. It was an amazing event and I got to meet a lot of other social hikers and in support of a great cause. Big Thanks to all our Veterans, those that helped with the event, Social hikers, and Greg for the hospitality. It’s events like this were the reason I joined in the first place and I hope to continue doing this event every year.
