Started out on the trail at about 5:30 AM which was the ideal time since we finished right around 8:30 AM when it started to get hot already. About two miles in the trail we found ourselves in the middle of a trail running marathon that was happening at the same time which we had no knowledge of since the parking lot was empty when we arrived. All in all a nice moderate hike with beautiful views. The toughest part was at the end to the peak climbing the paved road which is just a steep incline to the finish. Be sure you arrive at the true peak which requires you to climb some rocks near the big electrical tower at the top.
