It was the last week of 2023. I have 2 peaks left to complete the 6 Pack of Peaks San Diego.

However, I live in Irvine, nobody wants to drive 2 hours to hike with me, especially it was close to holiday.

Then some of my friends in San Diego eventually joint me. They took the out-and-back trail, and I took the loop. We met on the top then hiked down together. What a delightful hike.

I started before 8am and summited at 10:30am. It was a nice morning hike, not difficult at all, the trail was nice and friendly.

We walked down together back to the campsite, and had a light lunch. Then we set out crossing the street, hiked the Stonewall trail and all the way to the rocky summit. Great view too! Many thanks to my friends who recommended it.
