The trail was muddy in some areas but still very passable. It was a cold, overcast day with high winds, and up towards the top it was very windy and cold although the summit itself wasn't terrible. But the clouds made for a beautiful scene against the mountains in the distance. To complete the experience, so at the town of Julian for beer, smoked food, and pie!
