The weather originally called for cloudy with 5 mile an hour winds. By the time we reached Little Haystack, We were greeted with rain and well over 10 mile an hour winds. The rest of the hike was cloudy and rainy. The clouds made the hike very interesting because you could barely see in front of you. Definitely a challenging hike. Thankful, the hut was available to stop at. As we descended down old bridal, The clouds and Rain went away and the View opened up. there were sections of the hike that still had snow and ice. Spikes were definitely recommended. My favorite part of the hike, were all of the waterfalls. Overall, pretty sore from the hike.
