Was worried about this hike based off of reviews but in reality it wasn't too bad. Losing the elevation you just gained sucked but but hills weren't too bad. Pretty muddy the last .5 miles with that red clay dirt that is super difficult to get off. Started around 5:50 and it was clear but as I got closer to the peak it started to become overcast. At the peak I got to experience my first “above the clouds” view and about 15 minutes later it was so overcast you couldn't see anything. Definitely a good experience.
