Another wonderful hike that I never would have found.
The trail/road is in great shape for the entire hike. The first two miles are the only part of the hike that requires any effort. There was still some ice, snow, and mud on the top half of the hike up but nothing bad. Poles were nice to have but not really necessary.
I arrived at 10am, and was the last person to hike up that day. I passed six people as they were descending and met two more at the very top.
The views at just incredible. It still amazes me how much open country we have in San Diego.
Someone needs to make the hike with a new sign. There is still a sign up top welcoming the 2022 Six Pack of Peaks Challengers. 🙂
