We arrived at the trail head at around 7:30 am to a full parking lot. We parked about half a mile away from the trail head. The weather was nice and cool. Cold enough to wear a jacket. The air was fresh as we made our way into the mountain. The rain earlier in the year filled the streams and waterfalls. The first three miles of the hike had many stream crossings, a few people ended up with wet boots. Parts of the trail had been damaged from all the rain, and rockslides. The weather for most of the hike was comfortable and cool. Once we got towards the top of the mountain the sun started coming out, but it was still cold. We hung out at the top to have a light meal for about an hour. And then headed back down on the other side of the peak to complete the loop. The way down was just as cool, I kept my jacket on for most of the hike. Once we got to the bridge at the bottom, the trail up to the trail head got hot and sunny. We got back to the car around 3:00 pm.
