Another San Diego area hike with truly stunning views. I really enjoyed this hike. Although I read several reviews online that classified this as strenuous, I wouldn't say that – it was definitely a challenge but really doable. The terrain was fairly rocky. I had perfect weather today, 70 and clear and sunny. Not too steep and pretty easy to follow (I downloaded a trail gpx file for the Gaia app). There were a few rocky scrambles but not dangerous or intimidating. There were a fair amount of people on the trail. The views of Corte Madera as you approached were beautiful, but the views from the top were even better. I love how remote the San Diego area hikes in the Six Pack have been so far (this was my 3rd hike in this six pack). Took about 3.5 hrs for me and my dog, including some snack and water breaks.
