The road to the trailhead was unpaved and bumpy.
We parked in a dirt area on the side of the road and walked to the trailhead.
It was hot on the way up.
At times there were bugs and it helped that we wore mesh head nets.
At times the path was narrow with brush on both sides.
The views were incredible at the top and made the hike worthwhile.
