Very nice hike in the wilderness, nothing spooky. The drive off the main road was longer and narrower than I expected. The first two miles are easy with a gentle slope upwards. At this point, turn right for Corte Madera, you can see Corte Madera. Espioza trail is straight ahead, Los Pinos summit is to the left. Then the trail starts climbing. At 2.5mi the trail is narrow and steep. Scrambling up the rocks. It was fun a challenging. After the steep climb, the trail is up and down several times until the summit is reached. Bugs were ok, sometimes more, sometimes less, sometime none. Traversing the top, the trail is very narrow, long pants are recommended, if its cool, wear a long sleeve shirt. Take time to enjoy the summit, the return hike is fast.
