A nice day hike between the first and second storms hitting San Diego. Some mud on the trail, easy to navigate around. The wide fire road has large puddles, again easy to navigate. Temperature was 62 at the start and 56 at the summit. Nice breeze. Saw several hawks circling the summit. Many bees at the trail head, not an issue, they were flying flower to flower. Saw several pairs of hikers and four dogs. Happy to have long pants and a long sleeve shirt for the narrow trail sections. Beautiful views at the summit. The West was socked with clouds. The East was clear. One of the best hikes in San Diego county
