Lovely hike – moderately challenging after a fairly flat first half mile. We got lost briefly because we missed the turn off for Manzanita Trail – it’s attached to a trash can half a mile in, so don’t miss it! We had gorgeous views of rolling hills and snow-capped mountains, with blue skies. Definitely recommended wearing/packing long sleeves and long pants as there are lots of scratchy bushes near the summit! There was one area where you have to do some scrambling for about 20 feet, but nothing too challenging. Super beautiful and would do it again.
