Driving early in the morning was challenging. The road was rough, and I wasn’t sure I would make it. When I finally found the trailhead and parked, I was lucky to meet two hikers who had been there before. They gave me some guidance, which I’d strongly recommend for anyone who's never been there before, but I quickly figured things out. The trail was quite overgrown with bushes, though the weather was great, and the hike was short. When I reached the summit, the view was incredible. It’s the perfect spot to hike alone and really soak in the scenery. I think it would be an especially nice spot to visit in the springtime.
