Driving to the Corte Madre Mountain Trailhead took almost 75mins. We reached the parking spot around 4.45 Am, parking spot is small, so first come first serve. Anyways we are the only people at that point of time.

We are a group of 3 people, slowly started walking towards the Trail with torch in my hand, phone torch in my friends hand and a whistle around my neck.

As we started early, moon was bright enough to guide us on the trail. Upon reaching the post which says Corte Madre Mountain Trail head(its not visible unless u direct the torch towards it). We started walking ahead the post and you could keep hearing cricket sounds.
The trail gets narrower at certain points initially and did see a blockage(fallen tree) in the middle of the trail). I kept whistling when the trail ahead gets narrower to alert any animals on the trail. Going forward a junction of 3 trails occurs at a point and it doesn't have any directions showing which way to Corte Madre Mountain Trail. But make sure to turn right at the junction.

Slowly the trail started to pick up the steepness and the sunrise started hitting us on our faces. Able to capture nice pics of the foggy hills and also bright hills (sunrise hit hills) around, while moving ahead in my hike. You get to hear bird sounds a lot on your hike. Almost took 2hrs to reach the peak and able to reach it by 7Am. Through the hike , it was really adventures with steep narrow paths and overgrown bushes. Try to hike early in the morning to beat the heat and flies as well. Flies wont be an issue but we did experience them around trees in one spot but they are not aggressive. We didn't even find any other hikes till we reached the peak.

We spend around 1hr up there, took some beautiful pics, had our food and sign in the register book before head down the hill. While we started to head down, a group of 2 people reached the peak. When we started to hit back(8Am)another fellow hiker reached the peak.

Took around 2 hours to reach the parking spot. Even the hike back down was adventurous but not tiring. We come across couple of hikers down the trail. Overall the hike was good with fresh breeze.

Look for temperatures on the specific day before anyone wanted to start Corte Madre Mountain Hike. Carry as much as liquids and wear full sleeve shirts and pants to protect from overgrown bushes. Be safe.

Please keep the trails clean.
