First hike of the Six Pack of Peaks Challenge San Diego. Visibility was incredible which made for amazing views at the top. Weather was a bit hot so we were happy we got an early start. The trail had some nice shady spots to rest. The hike was challenging and left us feeling like we got a great workout – totally worth the views and the beautiful trail. Only saw a couple other people on the trail. This hike is fantastic and so happy to be introduced to it by doing this challenge. Had a pint of Bay City’s Fiesta Island Pils at the top to celebrate (along with about 3 liters of water throughout the hike)!
