Conditions were good.  It was an overcast day which made hiking inclines nice.  At the saddle, made a right turn.  Lots of forest trees along the way.  Great views throughout the hike.  A couple short rocky areas.  Huge boulders gave the trail some interest.  AND I found the “man on the moon” which was a goal of mine.  I had attempted this hike in summer of 2022.  Miscalculated how much water to bring and ran out of water .5 miles from the summit and decided to turn around.  So I had to make it to the summit this time motivated by the challenge.  The summit is a rocky peak and due to the overcast cloudy conditions not much of a view.  It was cold and windy up there so we stayed long enough to snap some pictures and headed back down.  Overall a good hike!
