My first time attempting Cucamonga Peak. The hike was hard. But the views from the peak were just amazing. Started in the dark hiking up thru Icehouse Canyon. We could hear the water running but could only see as much as our headlamps would allow. It was beautiful to see on the hike back down. The weather was great. We were again blessed with great weather and no wind at the peak. Also no other people. We got passed by a few hikers on the way up, but the passed us again on their way down. When we got to the peak there was only one other couple there. We were able to get our pics, eat our lunch and just enjoy the views all around us.
