Hike started off with some rain on the way to location. Once arrived there was no visible rain–beginning trail was beautiful with running water and lush greenery (was foggy). Once we continued up we hit a a little bit of sprinkling and you could see some snow off near the mountainside. Heading up the peak there was some snow but it was easy to navigate and not slippery. It was pretty cold at the top and we stopped for about 30-45 minutes and enjoyed lunch. I was a bit out of shape for the day and I was exhausted (additional altitude), but still decided to take the longer route back down (I'm not sure why I decided this but I wanted to commit to what the original plan was). Heading back the alternative route we did not see any additional hikers. It was rocky and there was a point where the trail must have caved in from rain but we were able to navigate our way to find the trail–thanks to All Trails. Heading back down it started to rain again. The smell was so refreshing at the bottom!

Overall beautiful hike and our favorite was at the top overlooking the clouds! We stopped at the Mt. Baldy Lodge Restaurant after for a little celebration.
