Great day for a hike! The weather cooled off and we hit the trails bright and early. We got to the parking lot around 615, and it was filling up fast! We were on the trail by 630 am and started the ascent. The trail was tough but was beautiful. The climb, the rocks, the creek, all were spectacular. Once we got to the icehouse saddle, the wind picked up a bit, but when we started to the peak, the perfect weather continued. The steep climb was challenging but the views at each turn made it more than worth it! When we got to the peak, we took some time to enjoy the views. The clouds below made for special views, as they spread out as far as we could see.

We basked in the sunshine and enjoyed lunch looking at the awesome views.

All in all an awesome hike! Looking forward to the next one!
