Started at 5:45 to beat any crowds, summit at 9:00. Clouds the whole way, fairly damp above the saddle. Snow patches in a few places, brought spikes and ice axe but didn’t need them. Nice and cool, great hiking conditions if not going for the view. The few snow patches are slick, especially on the way down after it warmed up a bit. Beer and burger by noon at the lodge. Great hike today!
