The weather was perfect today. We had clear skies, sun and a perfect breeze. Parking lot was full by 650am but parking up the road was fairly easy. Every estimate on distance was off by about 2 miles which was a shock. The switch backs are often but ou get a lot of breaks where I flattens out so that was great. Turned out to be 13.1 miles with getting to and from our car. Stream is rushing and beautiful, fall colors were full and everyone was very friendly.
