We started early and it was very brisk in the morning. Once we neared the summit, I was very grateful for shaded areas. There weren’t too many people on the trail as it was a Thursday. All in all, a rocky, steep but beautiful & diverse trail. Saw one garter snake on the way down and chipmunks, galore.
