Started hiking at 3am to catch the sunrise and beat the heat. Weather was perfect, a bit chilly but perfect for a summit hike. Definitely recommend shoes with good grip & ankle support since there are a lot of rocks and loose gravel. The last mile is very challenging, pace yourself as you go up the mountain so you don’t gas out. Views are stunning, sounds are amazing.
