Last time I did this hike, it was hard. This time, it was brutal. We started later in the morning than normal and it was a hot day. 5 days later, I still feel the reminder of this hike in my calves. It was one of those hikes where I ask why I keep doing these. It’s been a week now and I’m already planning my next hike. Hiker’s amnesia is strong.
