So I waited to post this hike, because I remember having such a hard time with it.. thinking I dont want to post it on here until I go back. Along with this challenge, it's kind of way to mark my progress and a commitment to myself to know im still on track to being in a more active lifestyle.
It was still a little chilly given it was March, and it wasn't even a mile in and I felt like I was dying. I really felt like I was going to give up.
I think the best thing that has happened since beginning this challenge, is finding people who not only have the same mindset of wanting to better themselves, but supportive encouragement to complete this. Everyone wants you to improve but just with this hike, but in life. It's almost as if it's materializing other goals. Name the top of the peak another goal you wish to accomplish so you know you can reach it too.
