Beautiful spring day for a good hike! This was my first time up Cucamonga Peak and my first all-dayer solo hike. It was gorgeous and a great challenge. A good portion of the hike is single track and steep so be mindful when passing. There were patches of snow, I didn’t use micro spikes, but definitely needed my poles, I slipped and slid down half a snow pack (do not recommend, but it was a quick way to get down! Lol). Make sure to download navigation before starting the hike, had to go off trail twice close to the summit due to snow coverage. Great way to spend Easter Sunday! 🏔
