No surprises. Lots of rocks and gravel, as usual. Coming back down sun was hot. Lots of spots to explore at the peak besides the popular center with the signs. Witnessed a girl slip on the trail coming back down from the peak with an ankle injury and needing to be lifted out. A reminder to be prepared if stuck up on the trail for extended periods of time. Going early provides views of the cloud coverage. Beautiful day. Took longer route down from peak. Very beautiful trail.
