It was my first hike in over 10 years!  It was windy on the way up and down.  It was hot on the way out!  Thank goodness we started at 6 am and finished at 1 :30 pm!  The rocks and pebbles were not kind to our feet! I slipped once on a wet stone, but no injuries!  I landed on my cushiony butt!
the view on the top was amazing!  One of my hiking friend cried for she never thought she could finish the hike!  I cried too, for I forgot what a beautiful world we live in!

The streams in the beginning and at the end was soothing in my ears!  The few cabins we saw were amazingly in good shape from the outside.

I know we all need a better and good hiking shoes for our next Long hike.  My feet are sore from all the rocks and pebbles going uphill and downhill!

Thank you for this group!
