Arrived a little before 6am and the parking lot was about half full on a Sunday. The trail starts with tree covered path with a nice water stream on the right hand side. Overall, the trail is nice, cool, and tree covered up until Icehouse Saddle. Then it gets rocky and dusty with more impressive inclines the rest of the way up towards the summit. Bring plenty of water (4L at least on a warm day), sunscreen and bug spray (a lot of mosquitoes!).
