Well spending a weekend in the wilderness….
Just trying out to take my hiking journey to the a level up… backpacking for the 1st with my great adventures spirit girl  Liaand this is her 1st time too! Woooohoooo🙌⛰🥾🎒! We made and did the summit of Cucamonga Peak 8,859ft! The trails are beautiful yet rocky and challenging, we were sweating and cold at the same time! But the views are breathtaking🤩😍💚💙!
Carry 40lbs backpack hiking to the mountains is no joke… back, shoulders and low back are hurting sore and hiking like turtles but we got through it! We did get a cool spot for our home for the night and delicious ramen cups dinner and hot ginger drink!! Scared of bears, we had to hide our food away from the tent😁. We ran out of 4.5L of water but thank God for another hiker who share his water at the summit and for fresh clean spring water nearby the saddle on the way back. Beautiful trails and mountains, views, and other hikers too!
If I could say it was a great success 1st timer backpacking! Looking forward for many more!
